Use this versatile finned strip heater from RS PRO to heat a surface and the surrounding area. The fins that span the length of the heater maximise its surface area for more efficient heat transfer, making this unit ideal for free or forced air heating applications. The controlled coil process ensures the heat is distributed uniformly over the entire surface of the heater, allowing the temperature to rise evenly and steadily.
The high-quality heater is made of a high-temperature alloy resistance wire, an aluminised steel sheath and cadmium-plated steel fins. The plating on the sheath and fins is extremely resistant to corrosion, making the unit suitable for use in harsh industrial environments.
The refractory material insulating the wires provides efficient heat transfer, allowing the unit to reach the desired temperature quickly and distribute heat evenly. It also has good vibration resistance, making this component suitable for use with heavy-duty heating units.
