Product Details
This heavy-duty power connector insert is a female, straight-orientation panel-mount module designed for industrial power distribution. It provides a Compact three-pole Plus earth connection for harsh environments where a robust, screw-terminated contact system is required. Intended for use in heavy-duty connector housings, it supports common automation and electrical installations that need secure conductor connections up to 1.5mm².
Contact screws require 0.25 Nm for the conductor connection and the protective earth screw requires 0.8 Nm to ensure correct clamping force.
It is specified to operate between -40°C and +125°C for a wide range of ambient conditions.
The contacts are rated for at least 500 mating cycles under specified conditions.
Use slotted 0.4 x 2.5 mm, slotted 0.6 x 3.5mm or PH1 drivers for proper screw engagement.
The unit withstands a rated impulse voltage of 4 kV and is rated at 400V conductor-to-conductor for industrial use.
Two 16P + E inserts may be accommodated within a Size 32A housing (typical stock no 363-7964)

These connectors should not be mated or unmated under electrical load. Connectors of the same or different types arranged in a line should be polarised to prevent the possibility of wrong connection.
