Product Details
This serial device server provides a bridge between a single RS232 serial Interface and Ethernet networks, allowing serial equipment to be accessed over IP. It is designed for deployment in industrial and commercial automation settings, connecting devices with DB9 serial ports to 10/100Mbps Ethernet via an RJ45 connector and supporting Windows environments.
It uses EIA/TIA-232 signalling via a DB9 connector to Interface with RS232 devices.
It can be powered over Ethernet using IEEE 802.3af Type 1 PoE to eliminate separate power cabling.
The Ethernet link operates at 10/100Mbps for integration into standard LAN environments.
Device management and compatibility are provided for Windows-based systems.
It is specified to operate reliably from 0°C up to 60°C for applications in moderate industrial conditions.
