Run data between your industrial control system and external sensors using this PLC I/O module from WAGO. Its 16 digital outputs enable the transfer of binary control signals from the automation device to actuators like relays, magnetic valves and transmitters. An optocoupler is on hand to deliver isolation between the bus and field sides for reduced risk of electrical hazards. Thanks to a maximum current consumption of 40mA, this unit is an energy-efficient choice. It's compatible with PLCs from the 750 series for complete assembly.
An optocoupler uses light to safely transmit an electrical signal between two isolated circuits, keeping both of them protected.
This unit has LED indicators to signal the status for ease of monitoring.
