Product Details
This proximity sensor detects conductive and non-conductive targets capacitively and is designed for industrial control and automation tasks requiring non-contact presence sensing. It operates from a low-voltage DC supply and is supplied with an M12 connector for straightforward integration into plant wiring. The sensors enclosure is built for harsh environments, permitting installation where ingress protection and robust electrical characteristics are required.
Sensitivity is set using an on-board potentiometer that lets you tune the switching threshold to accommodate materials with differing dielectric properties.
The device incorporates reverse polarity, short-circuit and power-up Pulse protection to reduce risk of damage during installation and commissioning.
Two PA12 plastic mounting nuts are included to secure the threaded barrel in non-flush installations.
Hysteresis is between 3% and 20% and temperature drift of the sensing range is ±10%, aiding stable switching across varying conditions.
