Product Details
This sensor-actuator cable connects M12-equipped sensors to control equipment via a flying lead, serving industrial automation and machinery environments. It is designed for areas exposed to oils and lubricants and for continuous movement in drag chains, providing a flexible link between sensor heads and wiring looms.
The unshielded PUR jacket with five flexible conductors and a 0.34mm² conductor cross-section delivers high bending-cycle performance specified at 5,000,000 cycles for dynamic applications.
The straight M12 female connector uses a screw-locking mechanism with a zinc die-cast, nickel-plated nut and FKM seals, tightened to 0.6 Nm for reliable contact and ingress protection.
It operates flexibly between −25 °C and +80 °C, with stationary ratings extending to −40 °C to +80 °C and the connector head rated up to +85 °C.
The cable permits torsion of 180° per metre with 2,000,000 torsion cycles and supports a rated impulse voltage of 1.5 kV and an insulation resistance of 100 MΩ.
Use an M12 SW13 mounting key set calibrated to 0.6 Nm for correct assembly and secure screw connections.
