These self-closing gate springs are part of our reliable and stringently tested RS PRO range. They're designed to be installed on gates to ensure they automatically swing shut.
With a free length of 254 mm, these springs have adjustable tension so they can be compressed or extended to suit your span. Simply tightening them with a wrench until the desired action is achieved. Made from high-quality steel with a black epoxy finish, the springs are durable and resistant to corrosion. For these reasons, they're well-suited to tough environmental conditions as they can stand up to bad weather and general wear-and-tear.
These springs comply with the requirements of the ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards. Thanks to their versatile construction, they can be installed on both left-opening and right-opening gates.
