RS PROs PCB coating for mechanical parts helps to protect electrical equipment from current leakage. It also minimises surface tracking and the effects of electrical fields. This increases the reliability of an electric system and decreases the chance of system failure due to dielectric breakdown.
The clear, moisture repellent lacquer can be used on assembled printer circuit boards (PCBs) and provides a clear coating that dries quickly to produce a smooth, transparent finish. The aerosol dispensed anti-corona lacquer is suitable for use on most bare and coated electrical equipment and displays good durability and toughness.
Electronics varnishes and lacquers provide the necessary combination of reliability and high performance for many electronic devices and applications.
