Typical Applications

• A thermohygrometer is an instrument that is used to measure temperature and relative humidity. It is an important tool to measure these two variables to ensure good Air quality and optimum comfort levels. Proper humidity control can have a wide range of health benefits for people who suffer from skin problems, asthma, allergies, and much more. Some units are available as digital or analogue units and others can contain a probe for more detailed investigation and measurement in harder to reach areas. Thermohygrometers are invaluable for facility maintenance and utility technicians, HVAC-service contractors, and specialists who assess indoor Air quality (IAQ) and are widely used at home, in schools, the workplace, hotels, storerooms and many more. The most common applications these units are used for are:
• Test and Measurement
• Industrial Maintenance
• Safety
• Metering
• Maintenance and Repair
• Facility Maintenance
• Temperature
• HVAC inspection

FAQs

• What is a thermohygrometer?

• A thermohygrometer device is a piece of equipment that measures humidity by measuring the water vapour in the Air, as well as ambient temperature. It is a dual-purpose unit that can be used to measure and monitor the Air quality of the surrounding areas.

• What is the difference between a thermohygrometer and a moisture meter?

• A thermohygrometer is a device that measures moisture in the immediate Air where it is situated, whereas a moisture meter is a device that measures the moisture content held within an object, like a wooden panel, cardboard, etc.

• What is the difference between a hygrometer and a hydrometer?

• A hygrometer unit measures humidity from moisture in the Air in the form of the water vapour that is present in the immediate area. A hydrometer is a device that measures the density or specific gravity (SG) of a liquid by floating in the liquid.
