If you need to thread cables through a conduit or trunking, this cable rod draw wire from RS PRO will make your life easier. The fibreglass tape is nylon coated to reduce friction and jamming and to make sure it won't abrade existing wiring or plastic conduits. It's housed in an impact-resistant case with a durable non-slip handle. The handle is oversized so you can grip it easily, even with a gloved hand.
The tape is 15 m long, with a 3/16 in wire diameter. It's also non-conductive, so it can be safely used when working near energised installations.
This draw wire is part of the stringently tested RS PRO range. It meets ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards. Draw wire is commonly used for routing cables through conduit and trunking in residential and commercial settings.
