Product Details
When you need to create a chamfer for starting a nut or threaded die, this RS PRO tool allows you to effectively remove threads, burrs and ridges from bolts, pipes or threaded rods. You can use it with metals such as mild, hardened and stainless steel, copper and brass. It's also suitable for use with timber, fibreglass and plastics.
This E-Z Chamfer is designed to prevent any sparks or burns when you operate it as it won't overheat the piece you're working on when you use it at low revolutions per minute (RPM). This means it keeps you and your work environment safe from hazards while the tool is in use.
As part of the RS PRO range, this product has been tested for quality and reliability. Use it in your workshop to make the insertion of bolts into holes or nuts easier. It also reduces the risk of cuts or injuries caused by sharp edges or burrs on plastic or metal parts.
