Product Details
This straight through serial cable from RS PRO features two female D9 connectors on each end with gold flash on contacts offering a high quality and reliable connection, ideal for use with connecting a computer to a DCE (Data Circuit-Terminating Equipment) device such as a modem. The cable features a PVC sheath offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability with strain relief on the end of the hood to support the cable and prevent it splitting. The cable also features aluminium-mylar foil shielding with drain wire, enhancing the quality and performance whilst preventing EMI interference. This durable serial cable is a perfect extension for applications requiring RS232 serial devices to be connected at a greater distance.
