Product Details
Microchips MCP73831 battery charge controllers are designed for single cell Li-Lion and Li-Polymer batteries. They're greatly advanced linear controllers and exceptionally great in space limited and cost effective. Included on the device is integrated pass transistor, integrated current sensing and reverse discharge protection. All of this is packed onto a 5-pin, SOT-23 package for minimal space use.
MCP73831 uses a constant current charge algorithm with selectable preconditioning and charge termination.
