Mecalectro Holding Magnet, 2940 N Holding Force 24V dc

Supporting electromagnets

• These devices are designed for supporting or gripping ferromagnetic parts.
• The maximum retaining force is obtained by contact with flat mild steel parts, with a surface area equal to or greater than the attraction surface, and with a sufficient thickness (equal to at least 1/8^th of the diameter of<THspace/>the electromagnet).
• Any gap, no matter how small, will noticeably reduce this maximum force.
