Product Details
This Fibre tester is a handheld instrument designed for on-site verification and measurement of optical links in mixed copper and Fibre network environments. It combines handheld power measurement with Visual inspection and connectivity interfaces to support technicians working with singlemode and multimode cabling during installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
It runs from mains power or the internal NiMH battery and accepts Type B mains plugs for AC operation.
The unit accepts LC, SC, FC and ST adapters and includes a fixed LC port option for sources.
It operates between 0°C and 40°C and is intended for standard indoor deployment conditions.
The Fibre power metre supports up to 1000 saved loss or power measurements for later upload.
The instrument is IEC compliant and carries relevant laser-safe and electrical certifications for Fibre test equipment.
