The housing is made of polyamide, providing excellent mechanical strength and thermal stability. The contact materials are brass with nickel plating for enhanced conductivity and corrosion resistance.
It can operate efficiently in a range from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for various environmental conditions in industrial applications.
The IP68 rating signifies that the connector is dust-tight and can withstand immersion in water, protecting it from environmental factors that could impact performance.
To maintain the IP rating of unmated connectors, sealing caps, such as the PX0970 and PX0992 models, are available separately to provide protection against dust and moisture.
