Siphons are used to protect measuring instruments from high temperatures. Hunting horn and U-type siphons are especially recommended for steam applications.Cooling adaptors (ASIP-D) can also be used between diaphragm seals and measuring instruments.The pressure / temperature rating is according to DIN 16282 or ANSI B36.10 (schedule 40, 80 or 160).
