ABUS PIR Motion Detector Motion Detector, 12m Sensor Range

The ABUS motion detector has a PIR and microwave sensor. The combination of passive infrared (PIR) and microwave (MW) provides high security against false alarms. An alarm is triggered only when both sensors with separate detection methods detect a movement. The PIR sensor reacts to moving heat, the microwave sensor actively monitors the environment (Doppler effect). With the MW transmission frequency of 24.15 GHz, the detector can be used in all EU countries. Optionally, only one type of monitoring can be activated.
