RS PRO 4 mm Black Terminal Post, 30 A, 2 BA Thread

This 4 mm terminal post is part of RS PRO's range of electrical connectors used to join wires to appliances such as power supplies and industrial machines.
The posts offer reliable electrical conductivity for 4 mm unshrouded plugs, inserted either in the top or in the cross hole at the side. They use a spring metal to apply outward force into an unsprung cylindrical jack. They're made from reinforced nylon and are insulated. Castellated tops offer additional torque for a more reliable connection when wires are clamped.
Safety bungs are available to fit into the top part of the terminals. These fit flush to prevent the insertion of a probe or plug to the conductive socket which would cause an electrical connection. You'll often find them used in audio equipment including amplifiers and speakers.
