Omron S8VS is a general purpose power supply that is a DIN Rail mounted, switch mode power supply. The S8VS power supply provides you with notification of replacement timing plus a buffer block manages momentary power interruption. The power supply unit includes an indication monitor with the status displayed on 2-digit, 7 segment display. Compliant to UL, CSA and CE approvals.

What is a DIN Rail Mounted Power Supply?

A DIN rail is a standard type of rail that is used to mount the power supplies into racks. DIN rails are a support for equipment. Din Rails are normally made from aluminium but if there is a chance that the power supply will suffer any shock or vibration, use a steel DIN Rail.

Safety and Storage.

Do not use the power supply in areas where subject to shock and vibration. Install the power supply away from contactors and other devices. Keep the power supply away from strong high frequency noise and surge.
Store the power supply at -25°C to 65°C.
Humidity of 25% to 90%.
No derating up to 60°C.
Keep away from direct sunlight.
