Product details

Chauvin Arnoux CA1227 Thermo-anemometer

From Chauvin Arnoux, the CA1227 is a multi-functional anemometer designed for measuring, recording and logging air temperature, air velocity, and volume flow rate. The comprehensive meter provides instant, accurate readings without compromising on performance. Constructed from high-quality impact resistant materials the CA1227 thermo-anemometer is the perfect instrument for service technicians, HVAC installers, building consultants and engineers.

Compact in design the anemometer uses a detachable, precision rotating vane sensor to deliver precise readings. With a measuring range of 0.25 m/s to 35m/s the meter can even be used for low air flows. In addition, the meter can simultaneously measure air temperatures from -20°C to 50°C thanks to the incredibly accurate built-in CTN sensor.

An easy to navigate keypad and only 5 control buttons make the CA1227 thermo-anemometer extremely user-friendly. Simply select the desired function you wish to measure and the mode you wish to record and the unit of measure to be displayed. Readings for all three parameters are displayed on the Chauvin Arnoux CA1227’s large digital, easy to read display. The backlight function enables readings to be clearly viewed, even in low light conditions.

Bluetooth and USB

The CA1227 digital anemometer is able to communicate with a PC via a Bluetooth link or USB cable. Data Logger Transfer software is available for free download to view and record the data. The software can be installed onto a PC and used to configure the instrument and recover the recorded data for analysis. The captured results can be displayed as a graph, a list of values or a table and exported in Excel.
