Designed for use where hazard reduction in the event of fire is crucial. Widely used in marine, transport, offshore and other high specification applications. Other features include low smoke index as defined by NES711, low toxicity index as defined by NES713 and high temperature index as defined by NES715. Approved to DEF STAN 59/97 iss.3 type DF. The boots can be used with spin coupling backshells or where ever the connector offers suitable rear mounting.
