This DIMM (Dual In-line Memory Module) socket is for the next generation DDR 2 (Double Data Rate) SDRAM main memory technology for Mobile, Desktop, Server and Communication Equipment. This technology will replace the current DDR SDRAM that uses the 184 position socket.

Same reliable anti-stubbing contact design as the current 184 position DDR socket
