RS PRO Electrical Switch Cleaner - Cleaning Agent

RS PRO switch cleaner is a special blend of solvents for cleaning critical electro-mechanical components which is supplied in a 500 ml tin. This cleaning agent quickly and safely cleans electric motors and all types of electro-mechanical equipment where the use of water-based chemicals is inadvisable. Most electronics cannot be washed with water, so it's important to clean and coat your electronics correctly to remove dirt and prevent damage in storage and in use.
RS PRO have a great range of cleaners to assist with electronics cleaning including spray aerosols, contact cleaners, precision cleaners and degreasers and surface wipes which can all be used on sensitive electronic and electrical equipment.

Features and Benefits:

Non-conductive, therefore safe to use on electrical equipment
Supplied in 500ml tin
Works faster than conventional solvents due to its powerful penetrating action
High flash point - reduces the risk of fire caused by flammable solvents such as benzene, xylene, isopropanol and white spirit

Typical Applications:

Electronic cleaners are precision cleaners which are used for cleaning and removing grease, oil, dust or flux from delicate electronic assemblies. They do this by cleaning PCBs (printed circuit boards) and electronic equipment very thoroughly, leaving behind a clean dry surface with no residues. Precision electronics cleaners, contact cleaners and degreasers will specify the devices they will clean. This may include:
Computers
Cameras
Optical and precision instruments
Components in electronic and video equipment
PCBs
Photocopier drums
Disc drives
Tape head
RS PRO switch cleaner can be used for the cleansing of electric motors and all types of electro-mechanical equipment. This cleaning agent is harmless to metals and fabrics under normal conditions and safe to use on most plastics, however a small area should be tested before use.
