Product details

Phoenix Contact RS485 to RS485 bus repeater

The RS485 to RS485 Bus Repeater from Phoenix Contact is designed for use on virtually all 2-wire RS485 bus systems such as PROFIBUS and MODBUS. The slim, DIN rail mountable repeater device does not need any special cables meaning that networks can be implemented using available cables, making them cost-effective.

Features and Benefits:

• Operates up to 1.5Mbit/s
• Space-saving 22.5 mm slim device
• Allows more than 32 nodes on an RS485 network
• Removes length limitation of branches
• Parallel connections on one side to simplify the wiring of a ’T’ connection
• Integrated surge protection with transient discharge to the DIN rail
• 3-way isolation between all interfaces

Applications:

Used for potential separation and range increase, they allow for two or more connections.
