The MC3390x devices are System Basis Chips featuring multi-output power supplies, safety supervision and a CAN transceiver for automotive-based microcontroller systems.

• Flexible SMPS pre-regulator allowing two topologies: non-inverting buck-boost or standard buck
• Switch mode power supply (SMPS) for MCU Vcore supply: +1.2V or +3.3V @ 0.8A (MC33907)
• LDO regulator for MCU ADC reference voltage or I/O supply (VCCA): +5V or +3.3V
• LDO regulator for auxiliary functions or sensors (VCCA tracker or independent +5V / +3.3V)
• Multiple wake-up sources in low power mode: CAN and/or I/O
• Battery voltage sensing & MUX output terminal
• Enhanced safety block associated with fail-safe outputs
• High-Speed CAN interface meets the ISO11898-2 and -5 standards
• Local and bus failure diagnostics, protection and fail-safe operation mode
• Six configurable I/O
