Molex Easy On 0.5 mm Right Angle SMT FPC Connectors with BackFlip Actuator - 503480 Series

Easy On 503480 series right angle SMT mount FPC connectors with a 0.5 mm pitch and a low profile, space saving design. These Easy On FPC connectors feature a BackFlip actuator which provides a secure connection between the FPC and the connector terminals and allow a high upward pull force. The BackFlip actuator also enables easy insertion of the FPC. These FPC connectors have a dual contact design which eliminates the need for separate top and bottom style FPC connectors when routing FPC to parallel boards. This allows design flexibility and makes layout easier and quicker. Solder tabs (or nails) on the base of the connector provide secure PCB retention and strain relief for the solder tail joints and a nickel barrier plating provides protection against flux wicking.
