From Instruments Direct, the Skywatch Xplorer 4 is a rotating vane anemometer and thermometer with in-built electronic compass, pressure and altitude function. The comprehensive meter provides balanced, instant readings without compromising on performance or functionality. Constructed from high-quality materials and stainless steel back for added protection, the Xplorer 4 anemometer can even withstand short term immersion in water at a depth of up to 1 meter. This extremely accurate instrument is ideal for outdoor sports enthusiasts and engineers.

Compact in design the Skywatch Xplorer 4 uses high a precision rotating vane to deliver exact readings according to Swiss standards. Even at lower speeds. The simple one-button operation allows the user to select from a range of nine modes. Six giving instant wind speed measurements and a further three giving ’History ’modes. With an LCD display and backlight function, all recordings are clearly shown on the front screen, even in low light conditions. To help conserve battery life, an auto-off feature after 1 minute will ensure your Xplorer 4 will not let you down, even at the most critical moments.

Modes of Operation

1 Instant wind speed measurement with max speed reached
2 Instant wind speed measurement with a current temperature
3 Instant wind speed measurement with wind chill factor
4 Instant wind speed measurement with a compass in degree
5 Instant wind speed measurement with altitude
6 Instant wind speed measurement with relative or absolute pressure
7 History of pressure (tendencies)
8 History of relative pressure
9 History of absolute pressure
