Product details

Grayhill 60A Series Joystick Optical Encoders

The 60A series is a multi function joystick but has the added functionality of a built-in optical encoder and push button. As a cursor control device this unit can eliminate the need for a stationary mouse or trackball providing all the same functions in a single, more compact design. They are ideally suited for automotive and aviation dashboards where having separate joystick, encoder and push button proves to be impractical due to space constraints. The joystick manipulates a cursor left, right, up and down
the rotary encoder facilitates sequential scrolling through menu options
and the push button performs on-screen menu selects.

Features & Benefits

Optical encoder, push button, and joystick in one shaft
Long life, high reliability
Compatible with CMOS, HCMOS, and TTL Logic
Operating voltage: 5 V dc (±0.25 V dc)
Supply current: 20 mA at 5 V dc

Product Application Information

This joystick optical encoder can be used in various applications, such as medical equipment control, radio control and robotics.
