Facom L-Shaped Long inch keys - spherical head
These L-shaped hex keys are hand tools used to tighten or loosen fasteners and fixings with a hexagonal configuration
Hex keys are considered a household necessity, especially those who prefer to have flat pack furniture. A hex key is most commonly used to drive and remove screws and bolts that have hexagonal sockets in their heads.
Features and Benefits:
Ball ends improve access to restricted areas
The keys are precision formed to give an exact dimensional tolerance, to give a precise fit
The L shape and long reach makes it easy to reach deeply in-set bolts
Make use of both ends of the hex key
Typical Applications
Hex keys and bit sets are used by:
Plumbers
Electricians
Mechanics
Electronic Engineers
Did you know?
A Hex Key is commonly referred to as an Allen Key, this is because Allen was the original manufacturer of the Hex key.
Also, a hex key can be reconditioned using an electrical grinder, or similar type of equipment. Through removing the worn out part, the hex key has the capability of functioning like its brand new again – Although this type of maintenance should be minimal if the hex key is cared for and kept in a good condition.
