The IMC series is designed for industrial use where heat, dust, moisture, common oils and chemicals are prevalent. This range offers compact multiple connection where space is at a premium. Typically, these connectors are suitable for use on test equipment, industrial sensors, medical equipment, instrumentation and control systems.
Plugs and receptacle may be fitted with either crimp pins or sockets assisting with prevention of strain on the cable.

What is cable mount housing?

Available in cable plug and panel socket mating configuration, cable sockets are used to make in-line cable plug connections. Panel sockets permit flange or jam nut mount into a max. panel thickness of 4mm, Daniels 8 point crimp tools and turrets are recommended to maintain the specification rating of the connectors (see Compatibility table). The Daniels AF8 (stock no. 314-7584) and MH860 (stock no. 314-8408) are high quality 8 indent crimp tools. AF8 is designed to crimp wire barrel sizes 12-20 (12-26awg wire range). MH860 is designed to crimp wire barrel sizes 16-22 (16-28awg wire range).

This product is made from Ultem which provides optimal heat resistance. Ultem is strong, robust and stiff. It features Gold plated contacts, to inhibit oxidation and prevent tarnishing.
