The BT 2600 DECT cordless phone features a One Touch Hot Key to launch the Do Not Disturb feature. The Do not disturb feature allows incoming calls to be presented silently with minimal notification. When in do not disturb mode the base and handset ringer volumes (on all handsets registered to the base) is set to silent, the handset backlight will not light when there is an incoming call.
The BT 2600 has type II caller display so shows the caller’s telephone number on the handset display. If the caller’s number matches an entry stored in the phonebook, the name is displayed instead. With type II caller display, you can also see who is calling, even when you are already engaged in a call
