The 3M™ Peltor™ WS™ LiteCom headset is designed for use in tough and noisy environments with built in technology. With active noise cancellation, hands free radio communication and Bluetooth these ear defenders combine comfort and wearability with effective protection from harmful noises within your workplace.

High-Performance

These hearing protectors have an SNR (single number rating) of 30 decibels (dB) and built-in two way radio with the ability of transmitting up to 3 kilometres. Powered by two AA batteries, which provide approximately 24 hours of operating time.

Dynamic Microphone

You can work safely and efficiently in even the most demanding environments with these tough and rugged Peltor ear defenders. The built-in dynamic microphone is noise-cancelling and provides voice operated transmissions (VOX). The headset allows two-way conversations across multiple parallel channels (up to 8 channels and 38 sub-channels). The noise cancelling microphone will effectively filter out any background noises so they can be heard clearly.

Hands Free Use

The Peltor LiteCom headset comes fully loaded with features for hearing protection and effective communication protecting your ears from harmful noises. The headset has Bluetooth meaning you can connect to compatible devices for answering calls or streaming music and stay connected from up to 10 metres away.

Yes, it actively mimics the outside noise, so that they cancel each other eliminating the noise that’s distracting you.

Can you connect the LiteCom headset to a mobile phone?

Yes, the headset is connected wirelessly through Bluetooth for telecommunication or audio streaming from up to 10 metres away.

Are ear muffs as effective as ear plugs?

For ear protection in high noise environments, ear plugs can offer a more complete level of noise reduction. However, ear muffs have advantages in that they don't have to be fit inside the ear, and so can be more comfortable, economic and hygienic.
