Product Details
This depth gauge from RS PRO can be used to measure the depths of spaces up to 200 mm deep. It's highly accurate to within ±0.001 mm. As it's made from tough, corrosion-resistant hardened stainless steel, this gauge is long-lasting, even when used for heavy-duty applications.
The gauge is powered by a SR44/1.55 V silver oxide battery, so you don't need to plug it in. It's fitted with a knurled locking screw that makes it easy to fix your measurements. The end of the shaft is fitted with a hook so you can easily align it with the lip of a space. Its digital display gives both metric and imperial readings.
It meets the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) ESD S20.20:2014 and British Standard EN 61340-5-1:2007 electrostatic control standards, meaning it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. A gauge of this kind is an invaluable tool for workshops or machine shops.
