British Standard Shelving

Simple and easily assembled bolt together shelving bays.

RS British Standard Shelving modules offer a proven quality shelving system which is easily assembled and can be used to form new runs to suit your needs or to extend existing runs.

The heavy duty 12 s.w.g. shelves give a shelf capacity of 375lb per shelf when fixed with 8 bolts, or 300lb per shelf with 4 bolts. Nuts and bolts are supplied for each shelf to give you the option of which shelf loading you require.

Finished in dove grey, each shelving kit consists of 4 heavy duty angle uprights either 75" or 87" high, 6 heavy duty shelves 36" wide by 18" or 12" deep with full assembly instructions.

To build the shelving to back and side bracing is required to give the shelving its rigidity and stability. Once you have chosen your shelving bays, refer to the bracing table and order the number of braces as specified and fit as shown in the assembly instructions.

Bracing is required in order to meet the standards of BS826 and give the system rigidity and stability. Refer to the ’selection guide’ table. Refer also to assembly instructions for bracing positioning.

Additional shelving kits: extra shelves are available for the bays in packs of six, with nuts and bolts to suit.
