Terrapin SCE2 series latch connectors are suitable for use with Terrapin panel mount plugs. These receptacle connectors feature a black silver shell plating, excellent EMC protection and are rated to IP68 when mated and have a latching coupling ring for secure connections. Originally designed for soldier mounted connector applications such as radios and GPS units, these Terrapin connectors are also suitable for LAN Switches, USB 2.0 and unmanned ground sensors amongst others.

Amphenol Terrapin miniature push-pull connectors are designed for use in harsh environments and applications that demand a reliable secure connection. Terrapin push pull connectors offer excellent EMC performance and IP68 protection when mated, ideal for soldier communications equipment and other connector applications such as Gigabit Ethernet, LAN Switches, USB 2.0 and surveillance equipment. Available in Snatch or Latch connector variations, Snatch types allow for quick demating and Latch types feature a securing mechanism to prevent accidental connector demating.
